La Colle originally owned by Jacques Le Scanff a French painter, writer and poet was first restored by him and his friend
financier Yves Claret in the 60's. Unfortunately they had to let go of
the project in the early 80's and the property was left unattended
for many years.
We took over the property in the middle 90's and have
restored it based on the vision of Le Scanff and his
family/friends. This restoration process has been based totally
on the old building techniques merged only in some cases with
the new.
The "Vout" 48 m2, is the principal lounge dinning area,
originally a stable for animals at the turn of the century it
was created into a living space by Le Scanff in the 60's. This
vast space is a very comfortable area for relaxing and family
activities. The huge fireplace at the end of the
"Vout", more often used in winter, is the focal point
of the room. We have set up many seating and relaxation areas in
the room.
The kitchen 19 m2, as always is the focal point of the house,
accessed directly from the grounds you will find that it has
ample working areas and that you can chat and cook at the same
time without having to fight for space.
Fully equipped with
all the necessary tools to create the splendid dishes that you
can conceive. The kitchen also has a dinning area where breakfast or
other meals can be eaten in the same space.
The advantage that you have in Provence is that the local
produces is so good that it really doesn't take very much to
create a feast!

The
bathroom 13 m2, again is well proportioned, leaving ample
space to dress, wash and generally look after
yourselves. We have installed a real cast iron bath
which includes a shower.
