This wonderful period of the year is often missed by many people
due to everyone's fixation on taking Summer holidays. Yes quite often
the kids school programme interferes with ones ability to travel but
many people can make arrangements that allow for a break in this
spectacular period of the year.
You can benefit from cheaper prices, you can leisurely get to
see all the most interesting and famous sites (You can see a selection
from our summer Points of Interest
page). You can go to the beach
or the lake without being in competition with all the other main
summer visitors.
In early Spring you can even ski in Provence! You can also; walk, hike, trek, horse ride,
discover, , bike, relax, write, create, paint, feast, BBQ in the
garden and much more......
Here at La Colle we can offer you access to all this and even if
you do not want to do all these things you can still just sit and
relax and watch natures splendid show.
Below are a collection of photo reportage of the area by
world renowned travel photographer Chris Kapolka,
travel photographer Ruud
van Ruitenbeek and myself.
Chris is a regular visitor to this area of Provence and is responsible
for the Provence photo tours project and Ruud is a well seasoned
travel writer and photographure.
